The OptiFlex™ I/O Expander OFX48 extends the input and output capacity of OptiFlex™ controllers, providing a flexible and space‑efficient solution for expanding control functionality while maintaining seamless integration with the WebCTRL® building automation system.
The OptiFlex equipment expander delivers input and output capacity to the powerful OptiFlex Advanced Equipment Controller, OF683XT-E2.
Designed for flexible panel configurations, the OptiFlex equipment expander is DIN rail or screwtab mountable. It can be mounted directly to the OF683XT-E2 controller or remotely mounted up to 1,000’ away.
The OFX48 provides 12 total expansion points, consisting of 8 inputs and 4 outputs, extending the capabilities of the connected OptiFlex™ controller.
The expander can be mounted locally or remotely, with remote installation supported up to 1,000 feet from the host controller.
All output channels include Hand‑Auto‑Off switches, enabling manual override for service and commissioning.
The expander integrates directly with the WebCTRL® building automation system, supporting system‑wide energy management functions such as demand limiting and optimal start.
