The ZN551 Zone Controller provides reliable, distributed control for zone‑level HVAC applications, offering expanded I/O capacity, graphical programming, and seamless WebCTRL® integration to support comfort and energy‑efficient operation.
The ZN551 is a fully programmable, native BACnet Advanced Application Controller (AAC) designed for controlling a single zone in a building. The ZN551 is well suited for VAV, heat pump, unit ventilator and other packaged HVAC applications. It communicates on an EIA-485 LAN using BACnet MS/TP communications and connects seamlessly to the WebCTRL® building automation system.
The controller supports up to 11 total points, including 5 binary outputs, 5 universal inputs, and 1 analog output, enabling flexible zone‑level control.
Supports native BACnet over MS/TP communications, allowing integration into BACnet‑based building automation systems.
Uses a fast, powerful, and fully distributed control architecture, allowing the controller to operate independently of other system devices.
Firmware upgrades can be performed remotely, and startup and commissioning are simplified using WebCTRL® system user interfaces.
